River Paddle and Beer Weekend Celebration

We’re excited to once again host our 4th Annual Mother Earth River Paddle on Saturday, April 8th, 2017!  This beloved event has become a staple of our spring and is always a good time!  The paddle is a scenic, 4.5 mile paddle through Kinston on the Neuse River.  The paddle is all down river, making it even more leisurely as you don’t have to fight the river current!  The trip is guided each year by Mother Earth Brewing co-founders Stephen Hill andCelebration Mobile Trent Mooring, who always enjoy pointing out the many sights along the river.  The trip begins at 10am on Saturday, April 8th, and returns to Mother Earth Brewing by 1pm, just in time for you to enjoy the annual release of our Tripel Overhead Barrel-Aged Belgian Tripel in our Tap Room!

The cost of the trip is only $25, which includes all of your paddle gear (kayak/canoe, paddles, life preserver), shuttle service from Mother Earth Brewing to the launch point, and from the landing back to Mother Earth Brewing, beers to enjoy on the river, and a free flight of Mother Earth specialty beers upon returning to the Tap Room.  100% of the money raised from this event goes to support The smART Kinston Foundation, a public non-profit dedicated to growing Kinston’s creative and artistic economy and growing Kinston’s budding cultural arts district.

This annual event has proven extremely popular, and tickets will sell out in advance!  To book your spots on the tour, email info@motherearthbrewing.com with the subject River Paddle.  You must be 21+ to participate.  We look forward to seeing you in April!
