Mother Earth Brewing Celebrates the “Mother of All Beer Weeks”

Beer lovers, craft brewers, homebrewers, beer distributors and retailers and Mother Earth Brewing are all making special plans for the annual American Craft Beer Week taking place across the country May 17-23.

The “Mother of all beer weeks” celebrates small and independent craft brewers and is a chance to highlight all that the U.S. loves about craft beer. In 2006, the week became the largest national effort focusing on American craft brewers and remains so today. In the works are special brewery tours, beer and food pairing events, special release craft beers and festivals all across the U.S.

Mother Earth Brewing is especially proud to participate. President of Mother Earth Brewing, Trent Mooring says “we’ve had a great year, and American Craft Beer Week celebrates all that we’ve been working toward…we’re honored to be a member of the craft beer community.” Mother Earth Brewing is taking part in the national event, by showing a beer documentary; Beer Wars- a fantastic, ultra-insiders look at the craft beer industry. Screening is at the Tap Room, this Friday, May 21st, at 8p.

"American Craft Beer Week has become a cherished tradition, making this annual celebration a great chance to toast craft brewers and to celebrate the advanced beer culture here in the United States," stated Julia Herz, a spokesperson for the Brewers Association.

The Tap Room offers every Mother Earth beer on tap, as well as a variety of specialty Mother Earth brews only available at this location.  The Tap Rooms is open Thursdays and Fridays at 4p, and every other Saturday. It is located adjacent to the brewery, at 127 W. North Street in downtown Kinston. For more information, call the brewery at 252-208-2437.
