Five Year Anniversary Party - Things To Know/Helpful Information

We’re just a little over ONE WEEK away from our Five Year Anniversary Party, and we're excited you’ll be joining us to celebrate as we turn five!  The Mother Earth Brewing Tap Room, as well as beer stations located at the Brewery’s North St. service entrance and inside The Red Room (220 N Herritage St.) will open at 12pm on Saturday, October 25th, with live music beginning at 1pm.  Here are a few things to take note of as you join us for this special day:

BEER - Beer will be available for purchase at three beer stations throughout the festival area.  Our flagship beer offerings will be available at the Mother Earth Festival Bar located on North St, and at The Red Room (220 N. Herritage St).  The Mother Earth Brewing Tap Room will be serving vintage offerings from our cellar, as well as “Five Beers For Five Years,” five new beers from our pilot brew system that will only be available in the Mother Earth Tap Room!  Before visiting the bar, please visit one of our ID Check Stations on Herritage St. to obtain a wristband.  Please note customers will be served a maximum of two beers per person per transaction, per NC ABC laws.  Please do not take open containers outside of the barricades marking the boundary of the event.  Doing so could result in a citation for violating open container laws.

BREWERY TOURS - Free brewery tours are available throughout the afternoon.  Tours begin every 30 minutes.  Tour sizes are limited, so patrons wishing to take a brewery tour should pick up a free ticket from the ID Check Station located in front of Mother Earth Brewing on Herritage St.  Tickets have designated tour times on them and are available on a first come, first serve basis.  Make sure you arrive at least five minutes prior to the start time of your tour and line up in front of the Brewery Main Entrance on Herritage St. (behind the ID Check Station).  Tours will last approximately 30 minutes and will conclude in the Mother Earth Brewing Tap Room.

MOTHER EARTH SPIRITS DISTILLERY TOUR - We’re excited to unveil our newest venture, Mother Earth Spirits!  Mother Earth Spirits was created to produce high quality craft spirits with the same care and precision that goes into Mother Earth Brewing beers.  FREE distillery tours will be offered every half-hour from 12:30pm-4:30pm and will include the first tasting of Mother Earth Spirits available to the public!  Due to space constraints, space for these tours is very limited and will sell out quickly.  You must be 21+ to take the Mother Earth Spirits Distillery Tour.  Tickets for these tours will be available at the ID Check Station located in front of Mother Earth Brewing on a first come, first serve basis.  If you have a tour ticket, please line up at least five minutes prior to the start time of your tour at the distillery entrance, located next to the beer stand on North St.

FIRST AID - Should you require first aid or medical attention, please visit our First Aid area located at the ID Check Station across from The Red Room.

FOOD - Plenty of food options will be available for purchase in our Food Court area, located at the opposite end of North St. from the stage.

ID CHECK - Two ID check stations will be available for patrons: on Herritage St. in front of Mother Earth Brewing and on Herritage St. in front of The Red Room.  Patrons should stop by one of these stations upon arrival prior to visiting the bar.  ALL PATRONS MUST HAVE A WRISTBAND TO PURCHASE ALCOHOL.  NO WRISTBANDS WILL BE ISSUED WITHOUT PROPER ID. NO EXCEPTIONS.

LIVE MUSIC - We’re excited to be hosting national recording artist The Connells as the headlining act for the Five Year Anniversary Party!  Live music begins on our North St. stage starting at 1pm.  Live music will also continue at The Red Room later in the evening with The Skyla Burrell Band.  Set times are as follows:
1pm - The Craig Harrison Quartet
3pm - J.P. Soars & The Red Hots
5pm - The Connells
9:30pm - Skyla Burrell Band (The Red Room)

PARKING - If you’re driving to the event, there are several lots around the brewery that offer free parking.  (View the map here: http://bit.ly/ZtJ8VI).  Street parking is also available along Queen St.  Free parking is also available at the Hampton Inn Kinston (1382 US Hwy 258), where we will offer FREE shuttle service to and from downtown Kinston beginning at 12pm.
